Naturally transparent behind the scenes – Step by step to a premium nutrient:
1st station: weighing & sieving
The production process begins with the careful weighing and sieving of the raw materials, a bit like preparing a cake recipe. This step requires the utmost accuracy to ensure that the ingredients are perfectly weighed. Only in this way can we guarantee the quality and effectiveness of our end products.
2nd station: Mixing – for an optimally homogenous nutrient mixture
After weighing and sieving, the raw materials are mixed in a process similar to that of a construction site mixer, designed to achieve an optimal homogeneity of the mixture.
Our goal is to ensure that each capsule contains exactly the advertised ratio of the individual raw materials. This precision enables us to provide you with products of unrivalled quality and effectiveness.
3rd station: Encapsulation – semi-manual manufacture, our centrepiece
In our semi-manual manufacturing process, we strictly follow the pure substance principle, free from technically necessary additives such as binders and anti-caking agents, lubricants or magnesium stearate, which could impair bioavailability. This approach guarantees the optimised bioavailability, tolerability and efficacy of our products.
The process begins with the insertion of half the capsule shells into the first ring. The raw material powder is filled and coated manually. A second ring with the other capsule half is placed on top, and the machine connects the two parts using a precise plug-in mechanism. The finished capsules are carefully placed in containers and the dust is removed.
Human care: Every step of the production process is done by hand – genuine craftsmanship, by people, for people.
4th station: Filling – precision and quality assurance
During the filling process, the capsules are transported on a conveyor belt, automatically counted and filled into boxes, typically 30-60 capsules per box for a one-month supply. An original cap is placed on each bottle and a flash of light signals the gluing of the label. Each label carries a QR code that contains important information such as the best-before date, the batch number and details of the product page.
Quality is not just quality
Direct quality assurance: Each can is carefully checked by our employees and prepared for shipment. However, the products do not go directly to retailers or to the online shop, as they first undergo a comprehensive in-house quality assurance process. This supplements the incoming goods inspection, hollow measurement and various quality checkpoints during production.
External testing: As standard, we send samples of each batch of each product to the LEFO Institute, where independent tests are carried out for contaminants, pesticides, heavy metals and more. These tests are voluntary and go beyond the legal requirements. In addition, standard regulatory tests are carried out, including checking the declaration, marketability, nutrient content per capsule, microbiology and more.
Long-term monitoring: We keep 2-3 products from each batch in our retention warehouse for three years. These samples are tested for active ingredient content and stability after 3, 6 and 12 months, as well as at other intervals.
All these measures are an expression of our commitment to the highest quality, effectiveness and tolerability of our products.
